Im pro make up ny11/26/2022 ![]() Their 'Try before you buy' policy is that if you don't return the foundation before the 14 day period, you will be charged full foundation price as they don't send you a tiny, respectful tester BUT A FULL ASS BOTTLE OF FOUNDATION. I have instantly sent an email back to them to explain the situation and I want my money back (I have yet to relieve a reply but I am not optimistic for reasons I'll go into), and I decided to dig deeper. They've charged me BIG DOLLARS for a tester. Weird, but not uncommon so I shrug it off and decide that I'll try it another day.Ī few seconds after that I receive an email telling me my order has been processed and that I had a copy of my receipt, to which I checked and I go through the whole process, still checking I'm only paying $6 and I go to process my order to which I'm met with a screen saying that there was an error processing my request. Another thing they do is 'Try before you buy', in which if you don't like it, send it back within in 14 days and get full refund? Amazing, right? They only charge you $5 ($6 for me because I ordered from the UK) and you get to test it and if you no likey, you send back. Their quiz was good it asked all the right questions and I was hopeful. #IM PRO MAKE UP NY SKIN#I'm scrolling Instagram on my commute home and I see the brand Il Makiage has an ad showing off they're going to 'perfect match' my skin with their foundation and as somehow who desperately struggles with foundation textures, shades, and everything under the sun I was interested. So whether anybody learns from this or not, anyone can help me, then lord have mercy because I am feeling the anger rn. ![]()
